Snow, snow, snow
I know this has been the theme for some time now. But this morning I woke to yet another heavy snow fall. Looks like someone will have trouble getting out on the bike.

Covered in snow... again
Last night another snow storm hit the city. This winter is one of the coldest I can recall. January 2010 has been the coldest for decades. But I like the snow and the frosty weather, though.

No trouble in the snow
This is what it looked like this morning. A snow storm yesterday covered the city with snow. But nothing can keep a biking or walking Copenhagener indoor.

Bring your bike
An outdoor ashtray used for advertising. Now you can bring your bike on the train for free when you have been out partying.
By the way - Google Street View has been launched in Denmark. So now you can take a walk through this lovely city without even being here. A good - and funny - place to begin you walk could be here - at Vestergade 12 in the city, where the camera has cauhgt a poor guy crashing on his bike.

Best of 2009
I have gone through the photos that I have posted in 2009, and tried to pick out the best. There were 261 to pick between, and this one from Marmorkirken (The Marble Church) is great I think. And it was even one the very first ones up here. Also, this one from Kongens Have (Kings Garden) is lovely, because it is such a classic Copenhagen sight with the trendy people and their bikes.
Nevertheless, I decided on the one of the sunset and the twelve apostles (actually the Marble Church as well). It might be a bit clichee, but there is a reason that things become clichees. The photo appeared on this blog on December 2nd.

Back in town
There is always a special feeling about getting home. Visiting foreign places is a joy, but coming home is sweet.
Happy new year!
