Fall in the Botanical Garden

From inside the Botanical Garden this morning. The thing floating on the water is part of an exhibition abouton climate change. It floats freely and goes where the wind and climate takes it. There are eight of them around in the garden and they will be there all winter.

Almost over

I really like this tree and took this picture last week. Now there are no flowers left and green leaves have taken over. So we will have to wait until next year, before we can enjoy the bloom of this lovely Tulip Tree again.

Tulip tree

This tree is sitting at that corner of Gothersgade and Øster Farimagsgade just inside the Botanical Garden, and it is some sort of a Magnolia. Just a few weeks every year it blooms with these lovely tulips. I think it is a Tulip Tree.
