Nature in the city

Just outside the city, you step into another world. 2000 ha of dammed land. It was dammed during WW2 and used by the military up til 1984. Nowhere else in Europe you will be able to find natural areas of this size, so close to the big city, and with the metro going right to the "door".

The legendary bakery

This small bakery in Skt. Peders Stræde has a special atmosphere about it. It is right in the middle of the city - with heaps of students hanging out in the surrounding streets. And is has Copenhagen's best tebirkes (a bread roll with melted butter and sugar in the middle). It is the pieces that can be seen in the foreground of the photo. I love them!
