A house boat in the Christianshavn's Canal. I've posted another one before.

Lagkagehuset

One of the best places to buy cakes is Lagkagehuset (The Layer Cake House). I strongly recommend their strawberry pies. And on a cold morning or afternoon you probably take a coffe as well when you there. But be prepared to queue up for a while, because it is almost always as crowded as this.

Pusher Street

Christiania - or Freetown Christiania - is a self proclaimed autonomous neighboorhood in Copenhagen. It was claimed in 1971 and is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the city. However if you wanna visit it you better get started. These years the government is trying to 'normalise' the area - whatever that means.

Emergency exit

An attached stairwell that either works as the main entrance or an emergency exit.

Umbrella cycling

This is a very typical sight in Copenhagen. A rainy morning doesn't stop anyone from taking the bike.

House boat

This is one of the many cosy house boats that are sitting in the canal at Christianshavn, and it is a rather big one it seems. Definately something different from the appartments I posted yesterday.
