Roskilde Festival

Copenhagen Eye has moved to Roskilde for at while. Roskilde is located about 30 km west of Copenhagen.

This week Roskilde is hosting the biggest music festival in nothern europe. 75.000 guests, 25.000 volunteers, and 10.000 from the media etc. All in all more than 110.000 people.

Today the campingsite opened, and thousands of people sat up their tents and a good party is started. The next four days is warm up , and on thursday the music begins.

Midsummer eve

On june 23 the Danes celebrate midsummer eve (Sankt Hans aften), by burning a bonfire and sending a witch to Bloksbjerg in Germany.
