I won't tell you who of these is the Little Mermaid, but she is one of the biggest Danish tourist attractions. Several times she has lost her head, and soon she will be shipped over to Shanghai for EXPO 2010.

I won't tell you who of these is the Little Mermaid, but she is one of the biggest Danish tourist attractions. Several times she has lost her head, and soon she will be shipped over to Shanghai for EXPO 2010.

She lost her head? Vandals or repair?
ReplyDeleteVandals. It has happened twice I think. Last time it was found again at a public toilet :) She has often been used for various political statements as well.
