Fund raising
The first Sunday in October is always the day when Danish Red Cross have their big day of fund raising. Volunteers knock on peoples doors and ask for a contribution to the NGO. I don't know the exact English word, but the dictionary insists on calling it a 'national subscription'. Let's just call it fund raising. The thing I enjoy the most about it is the chance to look into peoples homes when they open the door.

ReplyDeleteActually it's only a yearly thing. But Danish Refugee Council will collect money in the beginning of November as well.
