Hanging ship

This is from Anna Kirke (Anna Church) on Nørrebro. Almost every Danish church has some kind of a ship hanging from the roof. It is meant to illustrate the protection that seamen need - or have enjoyed already - when travelling the seven seas.

  3. Hei! Hvordan har du det idag? Handsome boat photo! I suppose a lot of Danes have been lost at sea? Nice way to remember them and pray for the safety of the other fishermen. Hilsen fra Hagen
